Volumes 1-3 record the business of Council's Works Committee from 1895 to 1913. Volumes 4-5 record business of Council's Finance Committee from 1906 to 1937. These volumes are not indexed.

From 1914 (Volumes 6-12) the Minutes of Council Committees, except the Finance Committee, were recorded in the back of the volumes of the Minutes of Council.

They include:
- Works, for the period 1914-1937
- Lighting, for the period 1914-1919,1921-1924,1926-1933, 1937
- Works and Specification, for the period 1914-1915
- Works and Health, 1914 and 1917
- Works and Lighting, 1916
- Whole of Council Committee, for the period 1928-1930
- Health, 1931
- Parks and Playgrounds, 1937
- Lighting and Health, 1938-1948
- Building, 1939
- Finance and Building, for the period 1938-1943
- Works, Building and Parks, for the period 1938-1943
- Library for the period 1946-1948

There was:
- A special combined meeting of the Newtown Works Committee and the Marrickville Council Works Committee in 1926
- Meetings of Special Committees in 1926 and 1928
- A Special Playground Committee Meeting in 1929
- A Group Assurance Scheme Committee Meeting in 1934

Following digitisation, the scans of all Minutes of Council Committees, whether separate or included with Minutes of Council, have been separately arranged here (as AS-0606) rather than displayed with the Minutes of Council (AS-0605).
