The building, the Aboriginal Housing Company was demolished in 2018 as part of the Pemulwuy Project. A flyer is taped to the wall notifying of a protest march in response to the death of TJ Hickey, from the Block to Parliament House on Wednesday March 24, 2004 with speaker John Pilger. One of a set of images showing mainly Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander people on The Block, an area in Redfern usually seen as comprising Hugo, Louis, Caroline and Eveleigh Streets. The photographer is Ms Patricia Baillie.
