Beyond it on the corner of Hamilton Street, at 30-32 Hunter Street, is the Grand Hotel. Hunter House at 24-26 Hunter Street, where the Sydney Morning Herald has an office, has a vertical Herald sign up the front facia. Along the left side is Fairfax and Roberts Ltd at 23-25 Hunter Street. At the end of Hunter Street, is a single-storey building, at 283 George Street, which houses the Wynyard Theatrette.
