Appended: Memo from Edward Bell, City Engineer, with specification and estimate for setting back the fence, constructing a new gully, altering kerb and gutter etc; Letter from Sir Alfred Stephen, Hyde Park, on the condition of the street on the southern side of the Park, stating a perpetual bog exists in Liverpool St opposite nos 97, 99 & 101 and requesting a reduction to the south west corner opposite Mr Long's residence, formerly Mr Thacker's, needed because of heavy traffic and danger caused by the fall of the street; Letter from Department of Lands agreeing with the rounding off of the corner and the agreement of the Hyde Park Improvement Committee.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
