Report of Isaac Aaron & William Houston, Surveyor, of Court known as Queen's Place, between George and Pitt St Nth. it is 18 tenements let for 9/- pw each, of 2 apartments [rooms] each. Rooms are small and low, average occupants, 5 incl children, court is unpaved, low (very close to level of Tank Stream) and damp, only one double privy for the whole, discharged into the Tanks. Recommend thorough repair, lime-wash and convert privy to water closets.
