Scott agrees to erect a fence on his land facing West St. He calls attention to a drainage problem he claims is caused by water pouring down the lately formed West St, Liverpool St. & neighbouring streets. As he is unable to sell his land because of this drainage problem, he suggests the continuation of Liverpool St. through Mr. West's property to take the water to the creek below. Another 2 letters on this subject, 11 June and 17 August 1864, enclosed.
