A letter from a solicitor on behalf of James Johnson whose wife met with an injury in Harris Street for which Johnson claims the Council is liable. Originally Johnson had claimed the Metropolitan Board of Water Supply was responsible. Included is a copy of an earlier letter to the Metropolitan Board of Water Supply and Sewerage from the same solicitor. The Board denied liability and referred Johnson to the City Council.
