A boy in a striped shirt who stands on the footpath and another directly behind him holds a hoop rolling (or hoop trundling) game.

The multi-paned windows are smashed and the building seems to be abandoned. The back fence of another property is on the right.

The photograph was taken in circa 1901 by Charles Kent. A photograph was taken of the same building from another angle, also in circa 1900.
