Obituary: MR. R. A. POULTER. Mr. Richard A. Poulter, who was buried in the Church of England portion of Rookwood Cemetery yesterday, was born in Sydney 88 years ago, and resided in the metropolis for the whole of that time. For 50 years he was in the employ of the City Council. He was co-inventor of the first mechanical sweeper used in Sydney. Mr. Poulter claimed to be one of the first men to ride the velocipede type of bicycle. He is survived by three sons and a daughter, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
