BAKER.— On March 28, 1935, at his residence, "Curragh," Beach-street, Coogee. George Baker, beloved husband of Elizabeth Baker and loving father of Fred, Reg. L. ("Snowy"), Harald. Mrs. Jean Sime. and Frank Baker. Aged 92 years. [ref: The Sun 28 March 1935 p8]
The death occurred in Sydney last night of George Baker, father of the famous athletic family, at the age of 92. [ref: The Newcastle Sun (28 March 1935 p 11]
Mr. George Baker, father of the famous athletes, Reg. ("Snowy") and Harald, and of Fred and Frank Baker, who were also prominent in sport, died last night at the age of 92. The funeral will leave Kinsela's Chapel, Taylor-square, Darlinghurst, for Randwick Cemetery at, 2 p.m. tomorrow. [ref: The Sun 28 March 1935 p20]
