To the left is part of the Commonwealth Bank branch at 83 to 85 Market Street. David Jones department store is at 67 to 77 Market Street and 113 to 131 Castlereagh Street. The ten storey building was opened in 1938 as a second store to David Jones' flagship Elizabeth Street store diagonally opposite. A bridge crossing Market Street joins it to the Centrepoint Building, later Westfield.
