Community Services Committee I

Unique IDAG-0133DescriptionThis Committee was appointed on 7 October 1969 when the name of CA 53, Health and Recreations Committee, was changed to Community Services Committee.

On 10 October 1977 a new standing committee, CA 132, City Health Committee was appointed and took over public health responsibility from the Community Services Committee. However, on 2 October 1980 the two Committees were amalgamated and the Community Services Committee was renamed the Community Services and Health Committee.

This Committee was replaced by CA 58, Community Services Committee II, when South Sydney Municipal Council was amalgamated with Sydney City Council from 1 January 1982.
