South Sydney City Council Community Living Department

Unique IDAG-0220DescriptionThis department was created following an organisational review conducted in 2001-2002. It was initially known as the Community Services Department, but the name had changed to Community Living by the time the Council's Strategic Plan 2003-2007 was published.

In the review document dated 4 February 2002 the department is allocated the following responsibilities:

> Interface: marketing and communications; community consultation and special events; One Stop Shop; venue management.

> People Services: social planning and community resources; children and youth services; community support.

> Aged and food services.
