The microfilm is stored in orange aperture cards and is retained by the Plans Custodian for use in the Department at Council of the City of South Sydney. The cards are numbered in the same way as the plans: E3 prefix designates an Engineering Plan of Standards, followed by a plan number and consecutive sheet numbers.
