The series include reports of the Technical Sub-Committee, referred to in the series as PAC Reports. The minutes are divided into topics such as business arising from the meeting, reports of the Technical Sub-Committee, general business, correspondence and date of next meetings. Reports of the Technical Sub-Committee contain the individual decision on specific subjects, including their recommendation or rejection.

The minutes of the 1st to the 26th meeting of the Parking Advisory Committee are not in the series. These minutes refer to the minutes of meetings held prior to 12 February 1957. It appears that minutes of meetings of the committee held when it was still a non-statutory body are not in the archives.

The last annual report in the series refers to the 1977 Annual Report which was submitted to the meeting of the main committee for approval on 12 October 1977. During this period, the records generated by the PAC were small, for the majority of its responsibilities were already being performed by other entities such as its Technical Sub-Committee, the Sydney City Council and the Sydney Traffic Committee, the latter created under the Traffic Authority Act of New South Wales in 1976. Although not officially abolished, the PAC seems to have stopped creating records after 1977, except for the Reports of theTechnical Sub-Committee that contained decisions and recommendations on subjects delegated to the sub-committee by the PAC.
