At the far left is S Holden fine art dealer and picture gilder. W Jacksons general store is at 98 Hunter Street. The grocery business has signs for Conqueror Sauce and Pickles, King Tea and Cadburys Cocoa, selected groceries, power breakfast food, and is a local agent for Rossitter tobacco pipe. On the notice board is a group portrait and photograph of a man in uniform with a sword. At 104 Hunter Street is Ye Olde Willow Shoppe cake shop on the awning and signs on the window for Fancy Puppy Shop operated by Fletcher. Workmens materials and tools are scattered along the footpath. There is a cart on the road with printed text, 'S.M.C E.L.D. No.12' beside which are buckets.
