28th Jul 2020 6:13PM20 Oxford street (Langer bakery) was one of the early meeting places for Masonic Lodges. Lodge Oxford No 22 Grand Lodge of NSW and later 85 of the United Grand Lodge of NSW held its first meetings on the top floor of this building. At the time is was Meyers bakery. JS Meyer was the foundation secretary of the Lodge - and as a baker he was also the caterer.
