On the far left is a terrace at 28 Buckland Street, which was connected to numbers 22, 24 and 26 Buckland Street as part of a factory. The factory was owned by Francis Dickin, a maker of furniture, wood materials and fitments. Dickin used 28 Buckland Street as a store for the factory, as referred to in a Town Clerk file from 1913 (see A-00252254). In this view it is behind a tall wooden fence with barbed wire on top. Next to this are terraces from numbers 30 to 44 Buckland Street. Number 30 is occupied by James Farrell and number 34 is occupied by Amy Seves. At number 36 is William Kitts, number 40 is occupied by Hugh Ellis, and number 44, which is on the corner of Levy Street, is occupied by George Wright. At 36 Buckland Street, a woman sits at the gate entrance knitting. In front of Numbers 40 and 44 people have gathered. In the distance, on the far right view, is the south end of Levey Street, including number 1 Levey Street. Number 1 Levey Street is occupied by Mrs M Harper's Cash grocer.
