The Secretary of the Returned Sailors, Soldiers (R.S.S) and Airmen's Imperial League of Australia (A.I.L.A) Newtown and District Sub-Branch write to the Council requesting the renovation and re-lettering, to make complete, and suggest it be relocated to the corner of Bedford Street and Enmore Road in Newtown. The Council advises it is not responsible for the memorial.

Includes plan from City of Sydney Engineers Department of King and Newman Streets Newtown War Memorial Site, with diagrams showing current and propsed locations.
