Appended: Letter from F Webster, Secretary, Agricultural Society, Tattersall's Buildings, Hunter St, agreeing to contribute to costs of main; Letter from the Volunteer Fire Brigades Association NSW, Capt CJ Lane (Newtown, Chairman), JH Marsh (Hon Sec, 233 Oxford St) and Capt E Love (Vice Chairman), informing that after the refusal of the Prince Alfred Park Trustees to accommodate the NSW Grand International Centenary Carnival & Exhibition, the Association is negotiating to use the Agricultural Ground and requests that a water supply be laid on from the Cavalry Cricket Ground; many hundreds of fireman are expected from Australasia, England, America and elsewhere.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
