Appended: Earlier Report of Finance Committee recommending work needed after removal of an encroachment be carried out by Council; Letter from HF Marr (on letterhead of Henfrey & Co, manufacturers of Soda Water etc) enclosing notice from Council to repair the footway and requesting that Council do the work needed; Memo from Richd W Richards, City Surveyor, noting wall and railing have been built after removal of encroachment; Letter from Frederic C Rooke, Registrar of City of Sydney Improvement Board, 35 Castlereagh St, enclosing notice from Council to repair the footway and stating that the Board occupies rooms sub-let from HM the Queen and that notice should be addressed to the Colonial Secretary or Crown Solicitor and that the owner is Hy F Marr and occupier is EO Farrell of the firm of Herald & Farrell, brewers.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
