The Trustees were Susan, William, John and Thomas Hughes. The case was settled with a verdict for £13,200 by consent with costs. Papers also relate to NSW Supreme Court Case no 6170 of 1892 concerning the payment of costs. The properties held by the Hughes Trustees were at the corner of Castlereagh Street and Moore Street (the Wheat Sheaf Hotel) and in Castlereagh Street held in trust for Mrs Jane Mullins nee Hughes (the German Club).
