Smeathman, 132 (later 215) Liverpool Street makes a complaint against City Dustman, Cart No.1, plying between Park & Market Streets who refused to move rubbish placed on the pathway in the Dust Bin. The rubbish in the evening was scattered over the path. A report from the Inspector found the bin was not too large for one man to lift by Driver Thomas Gleeson, who denied having sworn at the female servant, whom he informed that he had a full load, and the bin was not there when he returned later to remove it.
