In receipt of your letter about waste of water and enclose a copy of the report of the Inspector of the Glebe Island Abattoir. Note: City Eng to report; J T Jones: impossible now to ascertain who broke the meter, have directed its' repair. Copy: Fred Oatley, Insp, the tank overflowed into the reservoir under construction and had to be pumped out to continue work. Tank was in order when works closed, and interfered with overnight. The work of larrikins, the constable on the Island has thru vigilance had 5 convictions on 7th inst.
