City Surveyor points out that altering the levels would result in delays and possible calls for compensation and he suggests requesting the Government to submit sections of improvement with them undertaking to bear costs and consequences of same. The Mayor agrees with asking the Government to submit sections and to state that "we are desirous of relaying our portion of the street and think we should do it concurrently with the Govt if possible".LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
