He said that it had come to his attention that there was one white swan in the Corporation's grounds at Flemington. He enquires as to whether this is the missing swan and could the University's gardener bring it back to the University. Hugh Gordon, Inspector is asked to report and declares that he received a pair of white swans from England and that one of them was stolen. He suggests that if the swan at the University is female it be brought out to Flemington and within twelve months there would be enough swans for everyone.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
