City Surveyor notes that pipes recently installed by Council in Surry Hills should alleviate the problem on the Baptist-Cooper Estate but that Council could join Redfern Council in approaching the Water Board to amplify the drains south of Cleveland Street to improve the drainage in High Holburn, Marriott and Cleveland Streets.
