(Note: Re Mr Robb's letter via Board of Health; I have the honor to report that yesterday accompanied by Mr Baker I paid a visit of inspection to the Lime Street Wharf and its vicinity and found that from the rocks above the vacant land mentioned in the letter there is a little percolation of water, apparently clean... With regard to the banannas complained of, the Manager of the wharf informs me that there were not more than 100 bunches which were green and perfectly sound as taken from the steamer and deposited on the land for convenience of removal...immediately after they were there deposited: RS;25/4/96)LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
