City Building Surveyor to the Town Clerk enclosing the Electrical Engineer's Report on Smoke Preventer and Fuel Economiser Company's Patent. Smoke has been reduced but it is not as economic as other installations because the boilers are heated and cooled and not kept at a constant temperature. Report attached. Note. Postponed for one month pending further report. Second letter and accompanying report from Engineer after three months. There are fuel savings, but no smoke reduction and the front of the boiler gets excessively hot.
