The Committee was responsible for all matters relating to street cleaning and garbage collection, the Moore Park Parking Area, operation of fruit barrows, and licensing of footways in conjunction with outdoor eateries.

The agenda papers are collations of the papers distributed to the members of the Committee prior to each meeting. A list of issues and subjects scheduled for discussion is found on the front page of each set of agenda papers.

This series is not a record of the discussions of each Committee meeting but a record of the subjects and correspondence discussed. The committee then makes recommendations to Council based on these discussions which are found in CRS 7, Minutes of Council, 1842+.
