Unique IDAS-0472DateBetween 31st August 1928 and 1st January 1931Date qualifiercircaFormatPhotograph - AlbumDescriptionThis series is an album of photographs collated by the Engineer's Branch of the City Engineering and Building Surveyor's Department. The photographs are of street reconstructions, asphalt paving, street lighting, lamp standards, cleansing conveyors and parks.

The photos on pages 1, 14, 15, 17-20, 22, 30, 36, 37, 40 and some of the loose prints were used in CRS 42, Annual Reports, City Engineer's Department Reports. Many of the prints are the same or similar to ones in CRS 57, City Engineer's Department Photographs of Council Works, 1925-1942. The photos on pages 41 to 47 of the remodelling of Victoria Park were taken by Milton Kent.

Many of the pages in the 48 page album (plus extra leaves) have more than one print.
