This included the erection of buildings, lease of Council property, the supply of material for roadworks, erection of the Domain Moving Footway and bus shelters, and provision of food for meals on wheels.

The index records the name of the firm, what the tender was for, the specification number if applicable (specifications can be found in CRS 130, Specifications for Council Properties, 1909+), and the contract number. The contracts were given an annual single number. The register records the contract number, the work or service, specification number, name of contractor, related Town Clerk's file number (from CRS 34, Town Clerk's Correspondence Files, 1914-1978), date signed, amount of security paid, date security paid, stamp duty paid.
