The Victorian awning has been removed and is replaced by a steel cantilevered awning by Sydney Steel Company. Pedestrians and a Model T car are in Market Street and at the lower left is a tram in George Street. Part of the reconstruction of the Queen Victoria Building, which was built in the Romanesque Revival style between 1893 and 1898.
