Along the footpath, where workmen are constructing a cantilevered awning, are pedestrians on George Street and a Model T roadster parked at the kerb. Behind the wooden paling fence are galleries sectioned off for commercial premises. On the left is Lindeman Wines on the corner with Druitt Street. Tram tracks are in the foreground. At the upper right are two small domes and the large central dome on the roof of the QVB.
