On the left is the Darling Harbour goods railway line with goods wagons in different stages of being unloaded. Mathew Street follows the fence line along the railway line to Hay Street. Brick stall walls are being built at the lower right along the Quay Street frontage. The Ultimo Power Station with the three chimneys is beyond the railway lines and beside the power station is William Henry Street bridge over the railway line. Two chimneys at the far right is the Pyrmont Power Station.
