Workmen are digging and removing debris and railways tracks with the use of picks, shovels, wheelbarrows, and horse and carts. Ultimo Road with the railway bridge underpass and railway tracks is on the left. The original Quay Lane is on the right. The partially demolished building was J H Brodies natural food mill. The building at the upper centre is the Museum of Technology at 697 Harris Street. To the left of the museum is Ultimo House which was demolished in 1932.
