Would it be possible in future to give one or two hours warning if these pipes are to be shut off? The Secretary of the Metropolitan Board of Water Supply and Sewerage told the Town Clerk that the Board's turncock gave a verbal notice to a Power House Engineer. The turncock was instructed to serve written notices in future.LanguageEnglish (eng)
