To notify the Town Clerk that a group of workers, under the management of Thomas Franklin, disarranged the electric mains belonging to the City while they were painting outside the premises of Grace Brothers in Greek Street, Glebe. Council workers had to be sent to the repair the damage as electricity has been cut off to the neighbourhood. A Council worker died of electric shock during the repairs. Will Mr. Franklin accept the debit for the cost to the Council of making good the damage? A letter was sent to Mr. Franklin but no reply was received.LanguageEnglish (eng)
