Report of the Sub-committee of the Water Committee on the state of the Works at Botany and at the Lachlan Swamp. Recommendations for the Botany Works were: construction of a new weir, erection of cottages for workmen and the cottage occupied by Ramsay to be moved and used for the Engineer, rent to be paid by the occupier of the Toll house, the widow Harold to pay house rent, horses and cattle be allowed to depasture on the ground, fences to be repaired, and watchman to be appointed. Recommendations for the Lachlan Swamp Works were: to reshingle the cottage occupied by Abbott and Abbott to be permitted to use material from one of the huts fronting the Randwick Road to build a washhouse, oven and closet, at his own expense.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYesBorn digital itemNo
