Notation that premises were bought by Bennett in 1854 and not recorded in water rate books and Bennett was unaware of any liability. (2) Letter from John Duguid & Co, Millers Point, 23 September 1858, having given up Flood's Wharf no longer need water supply; notation by John Allum (3) Memo 19 May 1859 from John Allum, Inspector of City Water Services, listing contracts, names, locations, rates for 9 horse dealers with special water contracts and reporting on premises at north east corner of Hunter & Bligh Streets, occupier James Garrick [deleted] (4) Memo 2 February 1860 from Edward Lord to the Water Committee concerning water rates levied on George Lord with notations by City Engineer, E Bell (5) Letter 17 January 1861 from George Jennings, plumber, to the Water Committee requesting renewal of licence (6) Letter 22 September 1870 from W Twemlow, Jeweller, 295 George Street, complaining of sewers near his property in Pine Street, Shepherd's Paddock (7) Memo 19 May 1859 from John Allum, Inspector of City Water Services, listing contracts, names, locations, rates for 9 horse dealers with special water contracts: Thompson, Bligh St; Bowler, Hunter St; Applewaite, Pitt St; Bent & Co, Pitt St; Martyn, Pitt St; Grant, Pitt St; Wooller, Pitt St; Driscole, Pitt St; McIntosh, George St.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYesBorn digital itemNo
