Appended: Draft of the Report - Water: Engines and machinery have worked continuously except when Reservoirs full and have been in efficient working order; after seven months drought the dams still had more than half the quantity of water than at the start of the previous dry season; contract signed with Mort's Dock and Engineering Co for an engine and pumping machinery at Crown St Reservoir; details given of quantity of water pumped; total number of houses receiving and paying for water is 20,833 - Sewerage: Main sewers have been in good working order; construction of stone sewer in Hay St and silt pits completed; additional 524 houses connected making a total of 7730 houses connected to mains; more stoneware pipe drains laid; - Financial: Statements of receipts and Expenditure on Sewerage and Water Funds were presented.
