Unique IDA-00435923SeriesReports of the Finance Committee I [Municipal Council of Sydney]DateBetween 25th April 1881 and 25th May 1881FormatVolume - Leather BoundDescriptionReport of the Finance Committee recommending that the Agricultural Society of NSW be permitted to occupy about 25 acres of land on Moore Park to hold shows of live stock on certain conditions: the land used to be between Old South Head Road, the Military Rifle Range and the Volunteer Rifle Range and adjacent to the Military Garden and Cricket Ground; to be occupied only at Show times; rental £10 pa as "tenant at will"; permission to build caretaker's cottage, drains, tank for holding manure, removal of manure daily etc. Appended: Memo from AC Mountain; Letters from the Agricultural Society of NSW per Thos Moser; Scale Tracing showing the proposed site in relation to Victoria Barracks, Park Road, the Military Rifle Range, the Volunteer Rifle Range, the Military Gardens and Cricket Ground, the Tunnel Reserve, the boundary of the Water Reserve and Old South Head Road, complete with co-ordinates and acreages.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
