Appended: Memo from Richd W Richards, City Surveyor, costing the planting of seven trees but also noting that Sydney streets have not been laid out with provision for plantings and that Council would be incurring maintenance costs and in narrower streets might be dangerous and inconvenient and suggesting that the City Solicitor's opinion be obtained; Letter from the Board of Water Supply & Sewerage NSW, William Holmes for the Secretary, notifying that the intention of the City Council to cut down and reform Grosvenor Square will require lowering of the main and requesting Council pay cost; Memo from Richd W Richards, City Surveyor, describing work to be performed.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
