Continued: Memo from GC Waldron, City Solicitor, report on title to the land: owner in 1870 Alexander Bruce McKellar, died intestate in 1888 leaving a widow Elizabeth McKellar and 7 children viz Robert Bruce, Alexander, Annie Maria, Elizabeth, Henry, John and Helen McKellar, four of whom were under 21 years; the land was the only property left by deceased and there were no debts; Letters of Administration were granted to Robert Bruce McKellar, 20 February 1889, and title of land transmitted, 4 March 1891,to RB McKellar, beneficiaries being children of AB McKellar.
