Printed report. The report shows a reduction of liabilities in 1865 but an expenditure nearly twice that estimated. The Committee recommended that a new Assessment be made of City properties to come into operation in 1867, a re-numbering of houses be undertaken as the last re-numbering was 8 years ago and improvements be made at the Hay Market and the Market Wharf. Appendix A: Receipts and Disbursements on account of the City Fund for the year ending 31 December 1865. Appendix B: Statement of the Salaries of the Officers for 1866 as distributed amongst the City, Water and Sewerage Funds. Appendix C: Estimated Revenue of the Municipal Council of Sydney 1866.
