Appended: Draft of the Report - Water: (supply of water from Botany Reservoir, cracked 30 inch main, supply to lower levels of the City from the Tunnel from the Lachlan Reserve, effects of the severe drought, contract for the construction of the High Level Reservoir at Paddington not proceeding satisfactorily, large number of pipes supplied under contract by Messrs Willis Merry & Co and Messrs Lorimer Marwood & Rome enabling start to extending the supply to City and suburbs, satisfactory performance of contractors to supply bricks for the new reservoir, coals to the Botany engines and other supplies, quantities of piping laid and old mains replaced); - Sewerage: (Works at Woolloomooloo Bay, George St, Riley & Yurong Sts, Brisbane & Goulburn, quantities of piping laid, number of house connections); - Financial: statements furnished.
