Appended: Memo from Chas H Woolcott, Town Clerk, with Council resolution to refer the matter to the Committee; Letter from the Australian Gas Light Company stating the terms on which they would be prepared to consider laying a gas main along the central walk in Hyde Park from Liverpool St northward; Letter from WH Catlett, Secretary of the Hyde Park Improvement Committee agreeing as to the desirability of lighting in the Park but citing a lack of funds to commit to maintenance of lighting.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
