Wills had taken the Paddington omnibus from Paddington and it terminated at the top of Wynyard Street, instead of proceeding towards Margaret Street, and the driver's obviously disingenuous excuse was supported by the time keeper. There is a notation by Edward Oram, Inspector of Licenced Vehicles that the driver George Flake has been summoned to appear at the Central Police Office on 14 June.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
