(Note: Office of Inspector of Nuisances referring to Mr Cavanaugh's complaint of the 28th Instant, I have the honour to report that the nuisance complained of is caused by the overflow of the privy referred to, a prosecution for which will be at once instituted against the offending party - There are four houses off Crown Street occupied by eighteen persons who use this closet, which being situated on open ground, is also capable for being used by others, as indeed it certainly is. The overflow from this closet is materially assisted by the drainage from the Streets on the late Pawley Estate, and runs into the gateway at the entrance to Mr Cavanaugh's yard.
