(Note: Inspector of Pavements re Mr Jno Robertson's letter complaining that a portion of his pavement had been taken up in Pitt St & put down in a careless manner; Mr Newlands who is doing the adjoining property took up the flags in mistake & he informs me that Mr Gunning who has the contract to do Mr Robertsons pavement told him to put them in as they are.
